A 3D reconstruction of the Amagi-class battlecruiser, lofted parametrically from only the principal dimensions (length, beam, draught, displacement) and the midship-section offsets measured from the B-C body plan held in the Hiraga Yuzuru Digital Archive (University of Tokyo). Displacement was calibrated via the prismatic coefficient (bisection); watertight mesh (STL/GLB) and exact CAD surfaces (STEP) were exported after lofting. The model satisfies the drawing’s principal dimensions and is not a faithful reproduction of the original design in every detail.
