Tools
A collection of tools for building and working with digital archives.
IIIF Curation Search & Comparison
Load a IIIF Curation List, Collection, or Manifest and faceted-search or side-by-side compare the cropped image regions. Facets are aggregated in the browser; images and data never leave your device.
Kuzushiji Character Segmentation
Automatically segments individual characters from images of historical Japanese manuscripts. Inference runs entirely in the browser (WebGPU / WASM); images never leave your device.
METS Viewer
Turns the METS.xml bundled in an AIP (Archival Information Package) into a plain-language report, including per-file PREMIS provenance and the structMap tree. Parsing runs entirely in the browser; files never leave your device.
Preservation Demo (AIP Creation)
Pick a local folder and watch it travel end-to-end: direct upload to object storage, then Archivematica creates and stores the AIP (Archival Information Package). Requires an API key with write scope.
IIIF Annotator
An annotation editor for IIIF images (Presentation API v2/v3) with rectangle and polygon regions. Includes in-browser OCR (NDL Koten OCR) for transcription, metadata vocabularies, and TEI/XML / IIIF Manifest / CSV export. Annotations are saved to your account.
IIIF VR Gallery
Walk through any IIIF resource (Curation / Collection / Manifest) as a 3D virtual museum. Artworks deep-zoom via IIIF tiles, with smartphone virtual controls and VR headset (WebXR) support.
